Our next generation Property Management Software

197.494 lines of code, 3 years of work and a couple of sweaty moments but we did it! We have created the foundations of the next generation Property Management for campsites.

Version 1 was revolutionary because it was more easy to operate than other systems, stable, super fast and with the AppStore we were able to integrate a ton of third party software like channels, barrier systems and payment providers.

Version 2 will be revolutionair because it’s the first headless PMS system ever! With a headless system the API is the central hub. It makes it easy for third parties to integrate their soft- and hardware and makes our UI extremely flexible and user friendly.

Today we are launching version 2 of our software and we named it Starfish! Because a starfish has no head either and it has multiple ‘arms’ just like the API our software is based on.

Login

You can now login via https://app.camping.care/login with your email address and password. Or if you have a Microsoft, Office 365, Gmail or Google workspace account you can use this account to login.

Important: Due the migration to a new identity platform, your password might not work automatically in the new version. In this case request a new password via forget password option at the login screen.

What is different from the V1?

Most of the data will remain the same as in V1. However we have changed some things from the ground up. For this it is not possible to migrate them automatically.

Can I still use version 1?

Yes you can! It's very important to know that version 1 will be available next season for everyone that has an account today. So don’t worry, if you don’t want to migrate to the new version this is totally fine.

Migration service

Would you rather let us set up your version 2 account? This is also possible, we have set up a migration service. For 299,- we will set prices for next year, migrate emails, the interactive map, options and taxes and set up the branding for your new bookings funnel. New subscriptions

Small campsites want an easy to use interface and bigger campsites require more advanced options like advanced search, reporting and user management.

This resulted in the creation of three different subscriptions. A free subscription (replacing our current Lite version), a basic subscription (Our current PMS solution) and a premium subscription (Where we will add additional features like tasks management and guest reviews).

Your current subscription will stay the same and is marked as a legacy subscription. This will have the same functionality as the new basic subscription.

Only in October: If you have a legacy subscription you are able to switch freely between the new subscriptions. No costs will be charged and on 1 November, your subscription will automatically set back to your current subscription.

New features

The new version allows us to speed up the development of new features. We can develop about 4x faster than other systems and this is good for you! Because costs will be lower and delivery faster.

On the roadmap, to be launched before the start of next season are: Group bookings, Review and tasks integrations.

AppStore

Today we are also opening up our AppStore for third party developers. You can start and develop your own apps. In the next months we will set up documentation and webinars to get you more involved in to this feature.

Some new apps we will launch soon: Improved Mollie and Stripe together with Wordline as payment providers and we will create an improved version of our Booking.com app.
